Hello,

For the past few days, i believe I have been been fighting off a cold. For the most part, I feel relatively OK. I've been getting lots of rest, and taking Airborne. But this morning when I woke up, I spit up (through my mouth, not nose) a little bit of green/yellow mucus. Can you have discolored mucus if you have a cold? During the day, when I happen to blow my nose, everything that come sout is clear. I live in a dorm,a nd the student meical center is not open on weekends. Should I try to go today, or should I wait until monday? My other symptoms (not that bad) are post nasal drip, slight runny/stuffy nose, and always clearing my throat. Also, it couldn't be like the onset of bronchtis or pnuemonia, can it? Thanks for you r help.

I have a fiancee who suffers from schizoaffective disorder, but I never saw his disease as a problem. His "bad moments" were never related to me and were never that bad-he's no different then any other person in their cranky days, only difference is that he has to take a medication for it.I'm doing everything to be by his side and understand him as much as I can and I enjoy it!We share love that i never though i could have with anyone. We are soulmates! He is always there for me and together we try to appriciate the little things in life-what makes us so happy.
I'm curious to know if there are other men/women who's partner is suffering some illness (mental of physical-and which?) and do they find it as a problem?Do their friends mind?I don't mind not even a bit, infact i have never been happier in my whole life. My friends and family see that, but I guess many people amaze by our or my couridge to have a relationship.Part of love is accapting good and bad sides that we all have!Isn't it?

Does the lactic acit buildup in your muscles serve a purpose that if it were interfered with, that you would not heal functionally or that it would cause more damage to the body if it's process were interfered with?

have a friend who told me that many years ago her dr was doing a pelvic and nodded to the nurse, who sprayed something. friend says she's been paranoid about "smells" ever since because she thinks it was an air freshener. i asked her if she smelled the air freshener (since it would have been a small exam room) she said no, but still swears thats what it was.

i said i think they spray something on a slide if they were taking a sample to look under a microscope, and that is what the nurse did. do you have any expertise on the issue?

i know my friend would not have gone to the office unless she had done the whole prom queen shower & shave thing, so i just cannot believe her theory is right, but she just doesn't believe me, either. i just hate that she's been paranoid all these years about something that i don't think actually happened.

much bothered me. I also worked in nursing home where I so many dear people pass away. But since my husband,I am being treated for depression, panic attacks, which have lessened but I still get pains and just feel nausious and lousy quite a lot. When I feel this way I think I'm going to have a heart attack also. Will this ever go away and can I ever feel like I used to? Please, its been three years!
