It took me quite awhile to be able to put them in because my eyes were just so freaked out and would shut really easily. Then tried something new after a year of giving up...instead of putting it right in the middle of my eye so you can see your finger coming right at you, haha, I turn my head (to the left for the right eye, and right for the left eye), so the white of my eye is now where the center of my eye used to be. Basically you do the same thing you're taught to but you put it on the white of your eye, then turn your head back to straight. The contact will naturally glide over to your pupil and then once most of the bubbles are gone, close your eyes gently and viola. The white of your eye is not nearly as sensitive as your pupil. I CAN'T touch my pupil, it hurts. Anyway, I hope this helps!

I find that looking in the mirror works best for me because it is like looking at someone else's eye! I know that is silly but I also do that when putting in eye drops so I don't blink as a natural reflex. Hold your bottom and top eyelids open with your non-dominate hand, put the contact on your fingertip of your index finger and bring it close to the eye. When you are just short of touching the eye, it should jump on just like a magnet. Good luck!

Relaxing is the big key. If your problem is you want to blink every time you get your finger close to your eye -- with freshly washed hands practice touching your eye. Once you are comfortable touching your eye putting in contacts are a cinch.
Try putting your contact on your index finger and use your other three fingers to gently pull down the bottom of your eye. Use your other hand to pull up if necessary. Don't bother with the mirror, place lens on your eye. You may need to look down, up, left, or right for the lens to sit right.
With time and practice it will become second nature.

i suggest when putting on your contact on your right eye place contact on index fingertip on right hand and with the left hand lift the top eyelid. and with your middle finger from your right hand pull down your bottom eye lid and just look straight into the fingertip and place contact on eye but dont close your eye when you place it in.. now you lift the top eyelid and lay it over the contact ... lol and do the same thing with other eye but with the opposite hands good luck

the key is to relax.. when you're nervous you start blinking alot and your eyes will tear making it impossible to put the lens on. so just relax.. and then follow the great tips that other people gave you! Good Luck :)

Instead of looking at a mirror, look at the lens on your fingertip.
