I just added in another day of ice hockey to a two-day hockey week, making it three days of hockey (two regular games and one intense practice/scrimmage). I'm also fairly active other days, working on my home and property.
As I added in my second game and the weather suddenly turned cold, I'm having huge salt cravings. I'm oversalting (what I would consider oversalting: we're very low-salt at home and I don't eat much processed food), and craving things like potato chips and salty crackers.
Other than the sudden dramatic increase in salt intake, my diet's decent, and I'm extremely healthy for a woman pushing forty.
So what's up with the craving? Should I resist? More water? What?
