Apparently they grow them between the ages of 2 and 6 years old...but my missus is a midwife and can't confirm this. She ca't be that good if she never noticed the poor wee darlings don't have knees!

My son age five is coughing at night (around 3-4am). He is fine the whole day till that period of time when he is sleeping. I heed doctor's advise not to on the aircon but he still coughs. And the cough is so often that its seems never ending. I dont want him to reply on cough mixture forever. Any advise ?

I'm 18, I have 2 small jobs that I do in the evenings. I work at a Chinese for like 15 hours per week and doing Avon which is like 2 hours per week. I go to college, and I have to do coursework so that takes up time, and I have my boyfriend which also takes up time, but in a good way. My parents and I don't exactly get on so I can't turn to them for help, and whenever I want to talk to my boyfriend about how I never have any time to just sit down, he thinks I'm over exaggerating and makes it into a joke.

I know I'm only 18 and I shouldn't be complaining at such an early stage in life, but does anyone else feel like this? I know when you're a parent who works, it's difficult, but I'm 18. Any solutions? I can't think of any because I need both jobs to start driving lessons and for Christmas.

Serious answers only-
Can anyone find any direct link between my migraines, my hypothyroidism, my panic/anxiety attacks and the DES that my birthmother took during her pregnancy with me?

I would be very interested in knowing if there are any correlations here- But ONLY if there is a connection to ALL that I listed above.

I am 48 yrs old- diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 27- have taken synthroid- (ugh)- and have now been on Armour Thyroid for the past 3+ years.
I do very well with the Armour- perhaps because it is NOT a synthetic compound- and will not give that up.
I also know of the correlation between pork and migraines- would the Armour I take then somehow set the migraines off (it is a derivative of pig thyroid)?
I have had migraines since I was VERY young- I was probably about 7 or 8- Have also had a complete hysterectomy in 2000. Please answer if you can.

I am going in for an operation very soon and have been advised to take Arnica as this will help with the bruising. I cannot take the pills as these have lactose in and I am lastose intolerant. I discovered Arnica Tincture but of course this contains alcohol and obviously when having an operation alcohol can affect this. My question is; is the alcohol content in a tincture small enough to not affect my operation or should I avoid taking it all together? Thanks.

People other than my family always think I am a calm gentle person, even though it astonishes me when friends and collegues say this because inside me I feel stressed alot of the time. At home I have greatproblems to control my anger and it has bad effects on my family and relationships. Any suggestions on how I can learn to not be such a hot head?
