Just wondering why you are asking a guy? Unless he is a nurse or doctor is all..anyway; Midol and this may sound silly, but drink only water to flush out your system. Of course it will make you go wee-wee, that is the purpose. Take 2 tablets every 6 hours as needed and it helps will other PMS problems as well. Stay away from caffeine; it will make you retain fluid right now. Drink water and juice is ok.
Hope this helps..

Switch to NuSalt (a potassium chloride salt substitute) during your PMS days and avoid salty foods and snacks. Take a good woman's multiple vitamin-mineral supplement. Calcium-magnesium-zinc pills with each meal may also help. Take a flaxseed or fish oil supplement and Vitamin E 400 iu with it to rule out Essential Fatty Acid deficiencies. Black Cohosh and Vitex are herbal remedies with a good reputation in PMS (Pass My Shotgun!) problems. ((I apologize for the joke)).

Try to eat or drink something that you know will make you go shoo shoo. This won't acually make the swelling go down, but it will relieve the pressure and gas. The swelling will go down a couple days after you start. For me, I use coffee. Coffee is a natural laxative. It doesn't always work and sometimes you may have to drink some juice or eat a certain fruit. But you know your body and you know what makes you do that. Welcome to womanhood!

any PMS pills (such as Pamprin) or a diaretic pill (like AquaBan) should help you with the bloating problem.

I would say pamprin or motrin. Works for me. Stay away from salt and soda.
