Do doctors tell the patient the full story? If someone had cancer and it had spread and become secondary (bowel primary, liver secondary), what would the Doctors say?
On doing my own research i have discovered how unfavourable this is, however my relative has not said anything about what the doctors have said to him.
What i am wondering is, whether the Doctors have told him that his chances may not be great, or would they not tell unless you asked? Sorry i hope this question makes sense.

and now, she's still there, she is VERY angry at us.She is acting out in there more than ever...calls us saying things like 'she hates us,wish I would die etc etc.
We were at a loss about what else to do for her...were we supposed to keep her home and risk her harming herself. She is 17.Now I'm thinking ,did we do wrong, will she come out worse than before.
WE have tried every available option; doctors, therapists, hypnosis everything with no good results. Was this caused by something WE did; this illness does not run in either familys' history.Ideas.....

I'm seriously considering going under the knife to straighten my legs. I'm not tremendously bow legged, but I believe it is quite obvious. I'm only 20 but being bow legged has always affected me. Only those with the condition will know that it's easier said than done when people say "be happy with yourself". I've reached a point whereby I know I must do something to correct my legs. For those who've been through bow legged surgery, do you think it's worth it to go for surgery? Are there severe post-surgery effects?

What are the post effects of surgery done to the leg? I know there will be blood clots and internal infections. But are these bearable pains? I'm considering going under the knife to correct my slight bow leggedness.

I'm looking for a non-toxic paint to paint my walls at home. I've found something called Milk Paint but I'm not sure how well it applies. If you've tried or can recommend any other non-toxic paint, please let me know how well it applied and if it applies similar to regular paint. I don't mind a faux finished look - in fact, I wanted to do at least some of my walls with a sponge or ragged look. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

I'd really appreciate some advice on this.

I'm slightly bow-legged and I've been having atrithis in my knees for the past few months as a result of this. Doctors have told me it WILL get worse in time to come(i'm only 20 now). There is no real cure for athritis, just medicine and therapy to reduce the pain. However, I'm looking at surgery. Doctors may not recommend it since surgery on legs will always have post-effects like blood clots, infections, etc. But at the same time, if I go for surgery to straighten my legs, it will lessen the pressure on my knees and thus reduce my athritis significantly. I also know that being bow legged has always affected me socially. Every other part of me is fine except my legs and its so disheartening. Is surgery worth it?

I have been singing since i could walk (i'd rather play piano & write my own music though). I do karaoke because it is fun : ) I find a great escape when i get into music it makes me feel good about myself. I have been going with my friends (who are very big into it). It feels good when people tell me they enjoy listening to me sing & tell me that they think i have a beautiful voice. I'm known for "My heart will go on" & "Through the eyes of love" I don't like singing the same stuff but i'm usually asked to sing these songs. The thing is now my friends are telling me i like to show off & tell others i like to be in the spotlight..and even started calling me spotlight. I found something i really enjoyed that felt good but now my spirit is broken.
~Why do people got to be so mean? I don't try to show off or to be in the spotlight. I'm never mean to anyone my friends are the ones who make fun of the singers who they think suck. I don't want to go anymore. I been telling them i'm sick now
