The bacteria could have been a little stronger than expected. It could well be another UTI. You may have needed a longer course of anti-biotics. It could also just be irritation, especially if you had just had sex. Always urinate after sex to flush out any bacteria that may have been pushed into the urethra during sex.

Call your doctor, or an after-hours clinic and explain that you were treated for a UTI with whatever med, you took it all (I hope), finished such and such a day and now you think you are having symptoms again. In the meantime, up your water intake. It will help with actually having something to do when you feel the urge to pee the next five million times today. If you can't get to the doctor today, take a tylenol (if you can) and a Sitz bath. That's what my doc recommended to me. Sitz bath is just warm/hot water in the tub with half a container of baking soda. It helps with the discomfort. Rinse well after the bath or you'll have baking soda residue all over you.

go visit your doctor.

Also, try drinking more water and cranberry juice, not the juice with the high fructose corn syrup in it... If you cannot tollerate the cranberry juice, go to Walmart and buy the cranberry tablets and take them.

Also, when having sex, be careful if you engage in anal sex. The e.coli and crap (literally) that is in there, if put near the urethra (or vagina for that matter) will cause problems. It's best to use a condom for any anal intrusion. Urinate after having sex to help keep the stuff out!

When wiping, after using the toilet, go front to back, never back to front.

Did you recently change brands of laundry detergent? you could have an allergic reaction as well.

Try wearing all cotton underwear for a week, no underwear at all while sleeping. Bacteria thrive on moise, dark, warm places. Don't give that opportunity. FIGHT BACK! :)

Uh, I think that is all I can think of for now. If I think of more, I'll let you know.
