Your husband should quit ASAP smoking cause's problems not only by killing his sperm but if if your already pegnet then he should quit now but give it about a month before your pregent and you should have no problems

Man, I didn't know people still "planned to have a baby anymore". Seriously, you should quit smoking right away. Have you noticed that more children have bronchitis and asthma now a days? This is because the air is not clean. These sicknesses are hereditary and aged developed so be careful. You need to start thinking for two. In everything you do, you must put in your head would this be safe for the baby born or unborn.

I don't think it really affects conception, but it definitely effects the baby once it's conceived and you are breathing in the smoke. But looking at the big picture, shouldn't he quit regardless? If continues to smoke his chances of cancer are tripled, and he's going to be no use to his future son/daughter if he dies of a smoking-related illness at age 48.

well, i dont know about him, but the wife shouldnt smoke through all of pregnacy, and nobody can smoke around the baby after its been born, best off for anybody who smokes to just quit altogether as soon as possible

Smoking lowers sperm count so if he has a low sperm count to begin with, definitely he should quit immediately.
