Im 58 1/2 inches and im going into the 5th Grade. A lot of people call me long neck and giraffe girl. I think giraffe girl is a cute name, but it is still is hurtful when people tease you. I've gotten back at the people who tease me but they TELL ON ME (what babies!) and I get in a lot of trouble. What should I do?

I tested positive for cocaine even though I do not use any illegal drugs. This test was taken for employment. I've had my urine checked and no cocaine was found. Should I get a blood test or take another hair sample test and challenge the first results?

Does anyone have any specific recommendations about like what to use to clean glasses with?
For example, I prefer Rain-X brand windshield wiper fluid instead of generic because it is far superior, it keeps your windshield clean longer and lets the rain or mud or whatever slide right off.
Is there anything similar for glasses?

my grandfather just lost his footing on the stair by my back patio and hurt his shoulder. he says he can move it if his other arm supports it but it is painful to try to move it by itself. he says he doesn't believe that he has broken it, but i was wondering if there are any doctors out there who could possible give me an idea of what he actually hurt. thank you very much.

I have been a nurse for 15 years.I am a mother of 4 and the primary income-my husband makes much less than me.I had a failed back surgery in 2003,and suffer with extreem pain.I am on heavy narcotics,I see pain management, neurosergeon, primary care MD,etc. No doctor will release me back to work,so I can'tfile for unemployment-you have to be ready and able to work. Also,no doctor will write for my disability,so I can't claim that. The welfare office stated that we do not meet guidelines for cash assistance, but did help with food stamps and medicaid(which wont pay for my epidurals or some diagnostic tests that may help with my disability claim). We are very close to being out on the street. My husband can't get a 2nd job due to lack of transportation-by the time his bus gets him home at night it's 8pm.I have ammended my resume to meet my work criteria(no lifting, bending,or being on my feet for long periods)but nobody needs a restricted nurse, and work from home jobs are scams.

It's not severe, and sometimes you can't notice it, but it's noticeable when the skin flakes and turns red on my eyebrows and the sides of my nose. If this a lifetime kind of thing, then what would be the best thing to do?

I have heard that some things will not be absorbed in a multivitamin. For instance, if calcium and iron are taken by a woman simultaneously, that her natural predisposition to accquire calcium primarily will negate her body's ability to absorb/utilize the iron (at least totally). I am a male, and I eat every 2 hours (bodybuilding), and I take several vitamins a day (over the USA rda anyway). Am I wasting my time taking a multivitamin? Are natural food sources of vitamins and minerals more effective (as the body was designed to extract from foods, not pills, through evoltuion)? I know the amounts that I want of things, but can I only count half (this figure is arbitrary,) or something of the proportion of some of the substances when it is taken from a multivitamin or any vitamin ( is 500mg Vitamin C less absorbed from the pill than from citrus)? Also, for instance, arginine (ammino acid) and glutamine can't be taken with milk, and some things sugar/acid will destroy - what about vitamin

My dad and my brother suffer from ADHD. But I only suffer Hyperactivity, and I don't seem to find information about hyperactive adults with no deficit of attention. Quite the opossite I always need to find myself a new challenge, or task to acomplish, to manage my hyperactivity. Also pretty often I get an excess of energy that seem to be incontrolable for 2 or 3 hours, in which I have to do something physical, and after I released all my energy I feel exhausted, for a couple of days. Most of the times accompanied by super fast heart rate, that has me literally up and running for a few hours. It's really uncomfortable. What kind of condition would this be? Is there any cure? Medicine?

don't get me wrong.. I know that water couldn't possibly make me fat.. but when I drink it I feel so puffy and I can literary feel my pants tighten.. of course this feeling goes away in a few hours, but I hate it.. however, I live in Egypt, and if you don't know what that means, well think HOT and HUMID.. and I'm almost always outdoors, so there is this grave eager for water.. I want to know one thing.. oh I forgot to say, I'm on a diet.. so the one thing I want to know is whether water can help me get thin, if not than I don't have to drink it..
further info: I cut down on drinking water for a week and now I drink one cup a day..
p.s: please no smug answers.. I'm really desperate!!

Recently it became difficult to swallow..after seeing three doctors..I finally found out through a repeat culture that I had the bacteria S.Marcescens in my throat. I couldn't swallow properly, eating became difficult..and my tonsils have been swollen. It was going on for about 3 months prior to treatment with antibiotics. I took 17 days of Cipro at 750mg. But I still dont feel like i can eat properly. They are talkin of takin out my tonsils. But I dont know if this is gonna work. I'm scared...Any helpful info of SMarsecens in the throat would be helpful as i haven't been able to get any straight answers through doctors or online..Thanks

I have been doing 3 miles of cardio (75% over my normal heart rate) 4-5 times per week for two weeks. I have also decreased my caloric intake to about 1800-2000. I have not lost any weight though, I've actually gained a little.
Sure, muscle weighs more than fat, blah, blah, blah...but my pants aren't fitting any better either.
Has it just not been enough time to see any results?
