I have been doing 3 miles of cardio (75% over my normal heart rate) 4-5 times per week for two weeks. I have also decreased my caloric intake to about 1800-2000. I have not lost any weight though, I've actually gained a little.
Sure, muscle weighs more than fat, blah, blah, blah...but my pants aren't fitting any better either.
Has it just not been enough time to see any results?

Yes, not enough time. Your program should only result in a loss of 1 or 2 pounds a week. I would not expect to notice much till 6-8 weeks. Add a whole body workout 3 times a week once you are accustomed to your cardio. It will speed up your results.

You lose about half a pound a week at this rate. That means you have probably lost about a pound. But in this amount of time, your weight can vary up to five pounds just based on normal fluctuations. Try weighing yourself at the same time each day and track the fluctuations. Don't use the high and low numbers; use the average.
You're doing the right thing... just keep doing it. BTW, congrats on doing the 5K's and on watching your diet.

Yes, two weeks is really too soon to see any improvement. It took me about 3 months to lose 25 pounds, but I didn't lose anything until about 3 to 4 weeks had passed because I was gaining muscle from the workouts and running. Keep up the good work, and in a few weeks you'll get your reward!

You need to give yourself some more time. You have to remember that this is the healthy and best approach to weight loss and therefore you can not expect the same results that you get with quick fixes.
A healthy weight loss is only 1 - 2 lbs per week. Give yourself at least 2 more weeks.

It probably hasn't been long enough. In addiiton, you may want to add some strenght thraining (weight lifting) to your routine. And your caloric intake may still be on the high side. Talk to a nutritionist to help you balance fat, carbs, etc.
