As we all know there are many types of insulin pumps. I have a Medtronic Minimed. There are other kinds. (Animas, Cozmo...) If there is anyone with an insulin pump out here what kind do you have and what are your pros/cons with it? I mean there are always problems with stuff. I can think of a bunch of things I don't like about the Paradigm 715 I have right now. But there are also things I like about it. What are your reviews about insulin pumps?

I have long eyelashes, but a few fell out (which were really long) because I was rubbing my eyes. Will they grow back to the same length?

Lately i have been havin severe cramps. my legs and back hurt often. i do not have normal menstruation. the last time i had my period was about 3 weeks ago, and it lasted for about 2 weeks. towards the end, the color was blackish brown. I always feel tired and worn out. i bled again blackish brown with none of the normal red... and it feels like my insides are twistin and turnin. when i am not bleeding i have discolored discharge that almost looks like mucus. if i do not have cervical cancer what else could be goin on? i am young and have only been with 3 people in my life. i only slept with my bf in the past 2 years. this is not a joke, i just am too shy to contact a real doctor at work. and when i try to talk to them they are busy. i do not want to waste time makin an appointment if this is not serious. Please help me.

HEY SMOKERS: Did you know that if you throw a cigarette butt out
your car window you can be fined? This is in Arkansas, I do not know about all the other states.
HEY NON-SMOKERS: I am a non-smoker. How many agree that
that they know it is hard for a smoker to quit? I have a suggestion
that might help the smokers since they are in the situation smoke
and be fired, or smoke & not eat, etc.
How about all of us non-smokers, give the smokers support to
quit. I think we should ask the companies to help their smokers
quit. I think the companies should do a sponsorship program. Have one or two non-smokers take a couple of smokers to a motel
or some other living quarters, with pay for each day, I believe this will help the smokers quit smoking. That would be no different than paying for them to go to a rehab to quit smoking, right? My husbands employer does this, they pay for rehab, for alcohol & drugs so why not cigs? I will start a petition to send to companies if enough agree.

I had an injury, falling on buttocks three months ago. Since then I've had twitching, tingling, involutary movement, and pain down the back of my legs. I have pain that radiates throughout my hands and arms. My fingers curled up and I could not move them for several days. I get light-headed and dizzy sometimes and run fevers. My legs get numb and my feet and hands swell up. I also have swelling in my hips and in my back. Sometimes I can't control the movement in my left hand and I get these little tingling sensations in my hands and in my forehead. At times I get these shock-like sensations in the back of my legs and in my back. Sometimes I can't walk straight because my back starts to hurt and it feels like its burning. I know these are a lot of symptoms but that's what's going on with me. I'm a little worried because the doctors don't seem to know what's wrong. Can someone please help me shed some light on this situation because I really need some help.

...both retired Royal Navy, blethering away like it was going out of fashion. Among the topics of conversation were the many health benefits of saunas and steam rooms. So I hear all this grapevine type health wisdom about "sweating out the toxins" etc etc and I wonder...

Exactly what IS going on, biologically speaking, when you take a sauna? What are the biochemical processes inside your body, and what good, or bad, is it doing you?

PS for the record, the sauna was attached to a municipal swimming pool. Behave now.
