happened to me and still does once in a while. not as bad when you're older, but as a little kid it can be pretty irritating. the doctors never really knew what it was from, but as i got older i found it only happened after I ate certain acidic foods, like pineapple. my aunt gets it from strawberries. most likely it is just an allergy. try some toothache gel. it helps some.

I would see a doctor as soon as possible to stop the problem getting worse.
It sounds like it may be an allergic reaction, so it may be worth noting down what your son has eaten on the day the blisters apper as this is what the doctor will advise you to do if he suspects an allergy.

Sounds a bit like oral thrush. You could try using Corsoldyl on his tongue as that is good for it (perhaps swabbing it on with a cotton wool ball rather than letting him rinse with it) but I'm not sure if it is contraindicated in the under-5s...

Alternatively could it be a mild nut allergy - I know someone whose tongue swells up if he eats raw hazelnuts. Not anaphylactic shock, just a bit of swelling and blistering.

sounds like an allergy. could be peas or strawberries most likely culprit or a food colourant. you'll have to test it yourself and get your doctor to refer you to an allergy clinic

I think he is allergic to something he is eating or drinking. Take photos of it at it's worst and also take him to the pediatrician.
