Over the past two weeks, I have had a lump develop on my cheek, under my eye. It began about the size of a pin head, but has grown to the size of a quarter. The lump is pink (reddish), quite firm, and is flaky. It does not hurt very much, but is directly in my line of vision when I look straight or down. This is very irritating. In addition, I have a lump under my arm that has grown to about the size of a golf ball. It is painful when I move my arm a certain direction or apply pressure to outer edges of the lump.
I have had acne cysts on my face, arms, and legs in the past, and these lumps do not seem to be the same type.
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts, shared experiences, etc.

Three days after my period ended my husband and I didn't use any protection. I thought it would be Ok. Then about a week later, my breasts got really sore and I've been having some cramping. I thought most women ovulate about 2 weeks before their period but I could have sooner. I should be getting my period on the 18th of this month. But like I said, all the premenstral signs started very early. I've been hungry alot too. What do you think?

I know it probably sounds stupid, but me, my brother and my sister NEVER flossed when we were kids, and yet none of us ever had any cavities. My brother and sister still don't have any now and they still never floss.

How many parents actually do floss their kids teeth? I've done a lot of babysitting etc, and none of the kids I've ever come across floss either and they don't have fillings.

I just wrote another question about being scared of going to the dentist incase I need lots of fillings because I haven't been since I was 15 and I'm now 24.

I've always brushed my teeth every day, but I never flossed until a few months ago........is that really bad? Will I have cavities between all my teeth now? I really don't want to be told off by the dentist for having lts of cavities, and I'm really scared about getting fillings.

My husband spent the last year and a half on chemo and surgery and the last chemo was in Feb. The blood AFP test was normal back then and then it rose again and 2 more tumours were found. The oncologist wants to give his body a break from the chemo as it's harmful to the body obviously.

I have been being sick every morning for about 2 years but the doctor said it was stress.
I have also been suffering with lots of migranes recently. The pain is at the front of my head. These had become so painful I have cried myself to sleep. I also get a sharp horrible pain shoot through my head very quickly but only occasionly.
I quite often bump into things with my right shoulder very strange I know but it has been happening a lot recently.
Im not sure what the actual symptoms are of a brain tumour but a collegue happened to mention it in passing and now Im worried. I know im probably only being silly. I would feel I was over reacting if I asked the doctor so thought I would get some advice on here first??

TRUE STORY!!!
I told my landlord 2months ago that I had constant water in my cabinets under the kitchen sink. I said that it was the water from washing the dishes, etc. going through thesmall opening. I told him that maybe it was something else because that water is there wether I was dishes or not. Yesterday I was sitting on the sofa. I looked in the kitchen and I saw a mushroom. I took a double look and it was five mushrooms ranging from very little to medium. There was also this cabinet length line of fungus that loos like a shaggey brow rug attached. It connect form the cabinet to the small space on the side of my range. By this morning the things have grown over 2-3 inches. I threw away everything that was in the cabinets contacted him and called the board of health. I have one infant and a 7 & 6 year old isn't that hazardious? please someone give me some advice. I took pics of this that is why I asked the question about the camera.

If I go to my doctor complaining about pain when I put tampons in, will he have to do an internal examination? That's why I've put it off for so long, because I don't want to be examined. Does it hurt, having an internal exam?

When I open my mouth after doing this, it feels as if there is a cord binding my lower jaw to the top jaw... it comes loose, but only after some slight pain. Is this exceptionally serious?

I usually have a normal period..(for me) I usually have a period every 3 weeks. Well I skipped two months out of the blue. When I started my period again, it was very light and lasted about 10 days. A week later, I started my period again, but heavily. It has now been 9 days that I have been on my period again. Is there a chance there might be something wrong with me (i've never had any problems before) or is it just because I skipped my period??

I'm 24 years old and I haven't been to the dentist since I was about 15. I've never had any problems with my teeth in the past, I never needed any fillings or anything when I was younger. The only thing I needed was three teeth extracted before I got braces.

Anyway, I know I really need to go to the dentist for a checkup because I haven't been in so long, but I'm too scared to go. Obviously, I'm not registered with one, so I'll have to find one privately since nowhere is registering NHS patients.

But I'm absolutely terrified. I'm really scared that I'll need loads of fillings because I haven't been for so long. And I can't really afford it if I DO need work done. I'm just so scared of the thought of being told I need fillings, and having the dentist drilling my teeth.

How can I get over my fear of going? Because I know I really have to go, but I don't want to!!!!
