That is really bad!
They MUST go to a doctor.
They are poisoning their system.
There is a reason behind it. Diet, blockage, cancer, some disorder.
You should have at least one a DAY.
Don't mess around with other people that are not doctors either, to get flushed out or whatever. There is a serious medical problem.

Depending upon your diet, you will go to the bathroom more or less often. Once every two weeks seems very infrequent, I would go to the doctor if I were you. That could be evidence of a serious problem, either with your internal organs or your diet or both. You may have blockage of the intestine which could be fatal. I am not a doctor though and I would urge you to call one as soon as possible regardless of whether or not you're insured, most hospitals will treat you for life threating problems without asking for payment up-front.

This is an abnormally long time between BMs. The norm is 3 times/week up to 21 times/week. Contrary to popular belief there will be no "toxins" built up in the intestinal tract. If this is your friend's usual elimination pattern and he suffers no discomfort, then nothing will happen to his health.

If you eat three meals a day; you should have three bowel movements a day- not having a bowel movement means the person is not eating any solid foods. If they are eating solid foods and not having bowel movements, they are chronic constipation and/or using a stool softener as they go along.(To treat your body in such a way is a brainless idea).

that sounds like a problem. not sure what health problems you would have, aside from severe constipation. it's definitely not healthy. see a doctor, get an enema, try a cleansing diet, eat fiber. i used to be very irregular with my bowel movements, then i did the cleansing diet with herbal supplements and lots of fiber. cleaned me right out! i'm better now.
