Over the past two weeks, I have had a lump develop on my cheek, under my eye. It began about the size of a pin head, but has grown to the size of a quarter. The lump is pink (reddish), quite firm, and is flaky. It does not hurt very much, but is directly in my line of vision when I look straight or down. This is very irritating. In addition, I have a lump under my arm that has grown to about the size of a golf ball. It is painful when I move my arm a certain direction or apply pressure to outer edges of the lump.
I have had acne cysts on my face, arms, and legs in the past, and these lumps do not seem to be the same type.
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts, shared experiences, etc.

Go to a doctor. It could be something benign like a cyst, but it acould also be very serious, like cancer.

As an esthetician, I would recommend you see a doctor for both of your ailments, especially the lump on your cheek. It could be as serious as skin cancer. I would see your family doctor or to be safe a dermatologist that specializes in skin cancer.
The lump under your arm could be an ingrown hair but may be a cyst. In any case you need to see your family physician for this as well. It's your health, don't wait.

well i have a skin condition called eczema and it sounds the same as that but just go to your doctor first before you see a dermatologist. The doctor can also refer you to one because around here a lot of doctors ask that you are referred from a doctor check ya later ♥

Go see the dermotologist. It sounds like you may have developed basil cell carcenoma, which can be burned or cut off. If it IS that, the longer you leave it, the less chance they can burn it instead of cut it. Get to the dermotologist NOW and get it diagnosed.
