I usually have a normal period..(for me) I usually have a period every 3 weeks. Well I skipped two months out of the blue. When I started my period again, it was very light and lasted about 10 days. A week later, I started my period again, but heavily. It has now been 9 days that I have been on my period again. Is there a chance there might be something wrong with me (i've never had any problems before) or is it just because I skipped my period??

That is a very tricky subject, I for one believe it is fine, since you already missed 2 months. If you are worried tho, then I suggest you see a dr. I wish you the very best of luck =)

Well how old are you?
Also, could deal heavily with your life...stress, losing weight, new jobs, relationships...etc.
If your period is really whacky then it could be a cause of that. If keeps happening I would see an OBGYN because then there may be something wrong with you.
Or it could be just the way your body is working! My aunt only gets it once every few months.
If you take Mexican Wild Yam (Herb) it can regulate your period. I use that as birth control. I take 3 pills in the morning and 3 at night. Been taking it for 3 years and never missed a period...always regular.
This is not a recommendation but a suggestion. Do your research as I had.

Sorry , I am a man, but I think if you are young and just starting to have periods, it may take some time to normalize into your cycle.

I do know several women who are healthy and have sporadic cycles.

Still, you should discuss this with parents if under-age and let them help you decide what to do.

If you are an adult, then I suggest you see a doctor to put your mind at ease, and if anything to rule out something more serious.

You left out a very important piece of information. Your age or how long you have had your period for. It is not unusual to have short cycles with breaks when you are just starting out.

If you have had your period for years and this just happened, not sure. Get checked out. You will probably need bloodwork.

Like all the others have said, go see the doctor. Women's reproductive systems are very tricky, so it could be any number of things. My niece has been going through something similar and she has ovarian cysts. The doctor gave her some birth control pills to balance out her hormones, and so far, it's working. I hope everything turns out well for you.....
