what is peoples obsessions with giving stupid answers to vegetarian questions?

for example " try putting bacon in it" and things like that, are they really that stupid or are they trying to be funny? cause ironically, if they were trying to be funny they end up looking stupid usually. so what is the point to their mindless banter?

Not the red dye, but I've heard from many people, and one of my friends called the company's number because her beliefs don't allow her to eat animal product, and they said that she should stay away from hot cheetos products.

I know you are gonna blubber on about v&v section but this is relevant. Some one got top answer to a question I posted despite the fact that they never even answered the question and just went into a vitriolic babble against me personally. Now if you lot have voted it top answer just because you don't like me or the wording of my question aint that fairly childish and petty. EAT MEAT LET THE ANIMALS LIVE

Right after I have a bowl of cereal with soy milk, my ears get plugged up and my throat swells a little bit. Why do you think this is?

P.S. I was just told that I am mildly allergic to cow's milk, so I just switched to soy milk a couple days ago.

If we no longer killed mass species for anything other than basic material goods and not for food wouldn't they increase in population to a level which threatened humans?

"oh me-troll, why do you have to keep on etc.."

Just answer the question.

BTW-I'm not a troll because I admire your efforts and I'm not afraid to say so. I just ask tough/unpopular questions. I'm secure with that.

Ok I took this pledge with my mom, that we can't of course eat meat/be a vegetarian. I'm in 6th grade and I feel its healthier not to eat meat. Most people who are vegetarians are in shape who excercise ( from scientests polls). And when I grow up I want to be like that. So I decided too. I started this a week ago. I ate some chicken today and yesterday :( I feel so bad. I also ate some last wednesday :(. I really wish I didn't. Cuz i love chicken in chinese food. But with red meat and pork i have refused to eat. Since its October first i feel I will stop totally. But I just love chicken so much! And plus I HATE TOFU! Help me!

me and my father are argueing about this. he says juice is a food and im saying its not food but a beverage (sort of more like water), i know theres a reason why they invented the word JUICE but dictionarys dont help. he says that he consideres any water with stuff (minerals, chemical, sugar, food dye, etc) in it food, so i ask him does he consider fiji water food or water, and he says water but even "purified" fiji water has substances in them. what is the official description of juice food or water? humans need two main things to survive, food and water, they cant just survive on one. u cant survive on juice and water. u need water any steak (for example, of course im over exagerating). he also says do we consider lettuce food? we said yeah but it isnt on the scale of what were argueing because lettuce is not able to be digested. so it sort of cant even be considered cuz its useless. tell me what you think about this? dont be sarcastic please

I sure hope not. :( Those poor, animals. How would you feel if you were minding your own business then all of a sudden, a large plastic square smushed your insides to a wall. I'm very disappointed if any of you have ever done something so terrible and cruel.

ok well i have been a vegetarian for about 7 months. I was just wondering if there was any other vegetarians out there. i also want to know what certain foods should i be focusing on? since i do not eat any sort of meat(fish/sea food, chicken, pork, cow...) i know that my body is being deprived of some nutrients. what foods should i be eating more often to make up for my "no meat" diet?...

P.s i take daily vitamins so don't mention that, i already know that. i have also visited my doctor and he said i was healthy.

I have nothing against vegatarians or vegans, but some people make the arguement that people are natural herbavoires, we are omnivores and here's why. We have binocular vision. Which all predators have. Our front teeth are are used to rip meat off. We even have fangs. We are much more intelligent. Which again pretty much all preatrs are.

Not trying to offend anyone just making a statement.

Hi there,
I've recently (just 3 weeks ago) made the decision to not consume meat & dairy products anymore.
Anyway, I stocked up on various vegetarian, meat substitute, and soy products...... I also bought a container of firm Tofu and I have no idea what to do with it . Any ideas for me ??
Thanks in advance everyone!!

The more I hear about problems with foot and mouth, blue tongue disease (whatever that is), the more I think about cutting meat out of my diet, not fish though. I have thought about it for years, and steadily improved my diet, however, not reduced the meat. I wouldnt know what to replace it with whilst having a proper meal. Im okay during the day whilst snacking on fruit etc but am at a loss at the main meals. Are there any tips or advice, like an idiots guide, that you could pass on to help me cross the line, and drop meat from my diet. Any links or recommended sites would be useful too.

I've seen people who are "vegetarians" eat junk food, like french fries, and chocolate, and chips. Are these foods really allowed on a vegetarian diet?
