I have nothing against vegatarians or vegans, but some people make the arguement that people are natural herbavoires, we are omnivores and here's why. We have binocular vision. Which all predators have. Our front teeth are are used to rip meat off. We even have fangs. We are much more intelligent. Which again pretty much all preatrs are.

Not trying to offend anyone just making a statement.

If our teeth are made to rip raw meat, go ahead, show us. Walk up to a live animal, like a bull for example, and try killing it with your bare hands. Teeth are aloud, by the way. Let's see how you do then. If you need tools, then it's not natural.

Go vegan!

The stomach acid of carnivores, such as my cat, is far more powerful than the stomach acid of humans.

The digestive tracts of carnivores are shorter than those of humans.

Carnivores have fangs, which humans don't.

Carnivores have claws to shred flesh, which humans don't.

We cannot kill and animal without tools. We cannot eat animal flesh without seasoning and cooking it. I have yet to hear of a tiger reaching for a saltshaker.

dude... why do you cook your meat then? Why is the smell of rotting flesh not good to you? Actual natural carnivors have a kind of snout to their face/jaw, have much better "fangs" and have short digestive tracks because meat working it's way through a colon as long as ours just aint good fo you...

We're opportunists, that's how we survived, thats why we can eat meat, that's why we're inteligent. we were herbivours, we have our apendix to testify to that, but our culture, not our bodies have adapted to eat meat, hence why we have to cook it etc...

To say we're herbavoires is far less of a stretch than saying we're natural meat eaters, which jsut isn't the case...

We have in the past found it easy to get certain nutriants from meat, but we can get those nutriants from plants without all the bad stuff you get from eating meat...

That may or may NOT be the case bra. But in this day and age, eating meat causes severe polution, famine and death around the world. We have a choice. Eating meat is selfish and cruel. Back in the day when hunting was legit, there was no such thing as animal cruelty, pumping livestock full of drugs etc etc. That my friend is the difference between then and now.
The choice is yours...

None of these things matter.

This matters http://meat.org

We are omnivores. That means that we can live solely off of plants if we want to. No human being can live off of animals alone.

Our teeth are useless when it comes to killing animals or chewing raw flesh, so that argument is useless.

Gorillas are herbivores and they have eyes on the front of their heads, so that argument is useless.

We are intelligent enough to make moral and ethical decisions, unlike the rest of the animal kingdom, so the intelligence argument is useless.
