I am curious about how hard it was for other vegetarians to switch and any health concerns or advice experienced vegetarians might have. I love to cook and found an abundance of recipes, so I'm not worried about the food part of it, more about nutritional aspects. How supportive were friends and family who did not want to become a vegetarian?

My friend is a vegetarian, but eats eggs and dairly products. One day he was about to buy an egg sandwich, and found that it had OMEGA3 added in it, so he didn't buy it. OMEGA 3 is from fish, right? Is there vegetarian one or alternitive?

My family loves meat and will not understand, but i hear veggie is healthy. Also, isn't vegan cutting out milk? I don't know really, so please tell me. I hear switching to soy milk is good for you, but I love milk. Is soy milk good? I have never met a veggie that I didn't fall in love with eventually, and it will be no problem for me. Please explain, because what do I eat instead of dairy?

I am looking for some things to plant/grow. I jsut remembered I are a tomato looking fruit which had a unique taste and a very bitter skin/peel. It was orange I think but looked very similar to a tomato. You know what it is?

I went out for an xmas meal and the vegetarian option was tiny crepes with a very bland white sauce and two strips of pepper in each. (The whole thing was badly organised and shoddy, though.)
