I'm a vegetarian who tries to limit my intake of animal by-products (egg & milk) in food (I do not personally cook with milk and eggs).

Anyway, yes. If I had made cookies at home and used an animal shaped cookie-cutter, I'd eat them! I'm curious... why do you ask this question, LOL!

They are improperly names as they are crackers and not cookies. They generally contain no animal products although some contain animal fats depending entirely on brand.

The only ingredient list I could find was for a sugar free version but:

Enriched Unbleached Wheat Flour (Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Isomalt, Vegetable Shortening (Partially Hydrgenated Soybean and/or Cottonseed Oil), Rice Flour, Maltitol Syrup, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Leavening (Bicarbonate of Soda, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Corn Starch, Monocalcium Phosphate), Salt, Soy Lecithin, Sucralose (Splenda Brand). A Nonnutritive Sweetener.

Technically a real vegetarian wouldn't eat animal cookies because they contain eggs in the dough and eggs are a bi-product of animals, however, most not-so-hardcore vegetarians probably eat them anyway =P

he he...

Yes, as long as they don't contain animal products.

Some vegetarians will not consume any animal products at all, including eggs and butter, which may be included in some animal cookies.

Answering a question with a question, if a vegetarian is riding a motorcycle, without a helmet, and swallows a bug................?
And another, what if the carrots where grown in a field that was fertilized w/manure, wouldn't that technically be called containing some animal products? (Especially if you don't know what said manure producing animal ate.)
