Stop eating red meat first (beef & pork), then start cutting out the chicken & fish - it's an easier transition

Eating vegetarian is the most healthy way to eat, first don't think you are depriving yourself and enjoy the new adventure. Get a easy vegetarian cookbook, use ingredients easy to find, and have fun !
You can get all the nutrients you need without eating flesh foods.
I still eat fish, but haven't had anything from a four legged, or two footed creature in years. Every annual check up I have the doc is always saying the good cholesterol in my blood is sky high and that is a good thing....so you will stay healthy removing meat from your diet.
I use a lot of recipes that call for meat ( like lasagna) and just leave the meat out and it is still delicious!
Good Luck and have fun !!!!!!!

It's not hard to stop eating meat with the alternatives available.

Just the thought of eating rotting flesh, which takes forever to digest, from an animal that was mistreated and then slaughtered inhumanely seems like an easy option.

Add that to the health benefits and ask yourself, 'Do I Really Want To Stop Eating Meat?'.

Doesn't sound like you do to me, but that's your choice.

I find it very easy not to eat meat. As a matter of fact I'm disgusted by it. The smell can make me physically ill now, and I cant stand watching commercials were they cut up dead flesh. When you understand the health benefits of not eating meat and also understand how much suffering you are allowing to go on in your name it becomes very, very easy. Oh, and the part the don't bother to tell you, it's incredibly enjoyable and liberating not to eat meat.

I don't know if I can answer that question for you. I read the book, "What would Jesus eat?". While the book doesn't advocate vegetarianism, it did provide enough evidence for me not to eat meat, eggs, or dairy again.
