Hi Im an intern for a major company. Recently, I have been assigned to assist a representative with a presentation for potential clients. We will have an audience of thirty execs- one is a vegetarian and another is a vegan.

I was going to order a sandwich platter from a nearby deli (but since i love meat n eat it all the time) wasn't sure what to order for a vegan.

Please help me- this is a really important project to our company and our meeting is in two weeks so i need to come up with a menu to submit ASAP as in this week by Friday but preferrably the end of the day today.

I posted a perfectly reasonable answer earlier as to why do carnivores have to post insults on the vegan/vegetarian questions section. I support anybody's choice on what they eat and I even have a few friends who refuse to eat meat or any animal byproduct. I found it ironic that with that question there were a lot of vegans/vegetarians that were insulting everybody not sharing their views. It seemed pretty hypocritical to me and nearly all but one or 2 people left only minor insults and didn't even leave a real legit, helpful answer. I'm not a carnivore and I'm not a vegetarian, i'm an omnivore, I eat a balnced diet of foods and as far as heart problems, i'm in the military, run about 5 miles a day 3x a week, and generally eat a balanced diet. I like my burgers but I really love Cauliflower and spinach and carrots too. So why ask a question and shoot insults right back at what it was about in the first place?

I am in no way at all trying to be rude. I honestly would like to know. I am wanting to lose some weight and I have no particular fondness for meat, I just eat it because I always have. I am wondering if there are any other benefits to becoming vegetarian or vegan besides drastically lowering your exposure to "bad" fats?

I am doing a project to make simbols as letters and I decided to use fruits, vegetables, and meats. If you can get atleast one fruit/vegetable/meat that starts with any of the letters D,E,I,J,Q,U,V,X,or Y, that would be great. For example, a is for apple and be is for bananna and so on. Thanks

I think it has such an effect on me occasionally. I had a home-made soya strawberry smoothie yesterday, and nearly 24 hours later, my stomach is still sore and gurgling. I vomited a couple of times last night and have a burning sensation in the stomach area. I've occasionally had a stomach ache after a soya latte but not as fierce as this one.

I think it's great when people choose to give up meat, but my friend is being stupid about it. She doesn't eat any vegetables, I rarely see her eat any fruit, and all she seems to eat is spagetti and macaroni and cheese. Is she being stupid?
