Absolutely. I am an average female adult living a vegetarian lifestyle and I'm 100% healthy. We get protiens, vitamins, minerals and amino acids (the building blocks of protien) from eating a wide variety of fruits and veg, including leafy greens and legumes. The problem many new vegetarians (and close minded omnivores) face is a lack of education about nutrition.

Adults everywhere are surviving on a vegetarian diet every day. As has been noted, though, a vegetarian diet does not simply mean fruit and vegetables, but includes grain products and legumes as well. And many vegetarians also include dairy products and/or eggs as well since they don't require that the animal die to provide them.

Vegetarians eat more than just fruits and veggies. We get a lot of protein from whole grains as well as beans.
It's a funny question. There are millions of vegetarians all over the world. It is a lot more common than people think. The number one killer of women in the U.S. is heart disease- high cholesterol. Cholesterol comes from animal products. The real question should be "why do women keep killing themselves by consuming animal products?"

I wouldn't think so. I'm a vegan and I do get some form of protein from different soy products. I don't think you could survive on fruits and veggies for long.

Yes, but she would have to make very sure to get enough proteins by eating soybeanproducts and other vegetables when she could not get proteins through meat, egg or milk products.

Vegetarians eat more then fruit and veggies. If whole grains, legumes and nuts are included in the diet then it is enough.

I think an average female is just like me and I am an
omnivour. She could survive but she would be living
a dull life and for what reason. We need meat in our
diet as do all omnivours.

but you probably want to add some protiens because you need that

You could survive, but probably not too healthy. Women vegetarians need vitamin supplements, especially iron; to fight off anemia.

If by "without anything else" you mean without any meats YES.
I have lots of vegeterian/vegan friends, who to be very honest ,are far healthier, than I, a confirmed non vegeterian am.
so, if you so desire you can become a vegeterian without any concerns for your health.
