Recently Dr Tima soda, sweetened with honey, 10 oz bottles, switched to 12 oz bottles sweetened w/honey and cane sugar. I was very disappointed as it was one of the few decent sodas w/o sugar on the market. Now they have come back with the honey sweetened version in the 12 oz bottles according to the label on the bottles, however the carton the 6 pack comes in still lists cane sugar as an ingredient. I found this discrepancy at Whole Foods market.

Which is it? Sweetened with honey only or with cane sugar and honey?

Why did Dr Tima brand switch to cane sugar in the first place. If they are switching back to the original recipe, which I hope they are, why that too? Anybody in the know have an answer? I spend hundreds a year on the stuff but won't touch it if it includes cane sugar, too big a hangover the next day.

I have a friend who won't eat any meat. She says it will make her regurgitate at the mere sight of it. She told me to go to a web site to see how cows are treated behind the scenes. I think she's obsessed. What do you think? (This is my daughter's question, she's 12 so be nice.) And she said to tell you, she loves meat!

I mean I understand the point of not wanting to eat another living creature and I completely empathize but humans are meant to eat meat. We have teeth designed to rip and tear. If we were meant to be herbivores then we would only have molars. Many of the people that I know with vegan and vegetarian lifestyles are not very healthy. Their doctors are constantly telling them to change their diets by adding fish or chicken. Now I'm not looking for hate messages. I am looking to be enlightened.

I want to make a great vegetarian dish for dinner, I am not a vegetartian so this is completely new to me. I have been seeing a guy the is a vegetarian for about 9months now and I am tired of eating out all the time. I want to make some great dishes at home. He doesn't eat any kind of meat or seafood nor does he eat eggs. But loves all other dairy products cheese, milk etc. Please offer whatever great ideas you have. Thanks so much.
