Asparagus tastes fresh and green but not mellow like broccoli. It is good, enjoyed all the recipes with it but the finer the softer. Look for the ones smaller then a crayon, taste less strong and easier to chew ;-)

Nice & crunchy... Tastes like asparagus:)

Try preparing it that way:
Wash it and cut the lower part (1/4-1/3 of length)
Lay on a baking sheet
Sprinkle with olive oil
Season with salt and pepper
Sprinkle with grated parmesan
Broil in a 400-450F oven for 10 min
Let cool for 5 min before consuming.

Yum!!!!

well I believe it is all in the taste buds. That is why some people like some things and others do not. I think it tastes like a softer version of bamboo shoot. I would suggest just trying it

I find it very bitter, and the texture is kind of stringy and hard, like you would expect from chewing on a branch.

I think you would just have to try it...I love it. P.S its a diuretic so it makes your urine smell...sorry.

the stem of brocolli after it has been soaked in butter and boiled. it is Great!!!

a green veggie that you boil, you add your on flavor . i use butter and garlic, and pepper or cheese later after boiling. no taste add your own seasoning
