My neighbor discovered a gopher which had eaten the entire inside out of a watermelon and then moved in.

Sea turtles, ducks, and other web-footed bird critters... I've seen 'em eating watermelon (behind my cousin's house) down at the Texas Gulf Coast.

Certain birds, cows will pigs will, that is all I know. My parrot liked small amounts. The rind is especially yummy to cows.

I was raised on a small farm. Oh chickens will peck on it after it is split.
