What is the best way to make the skin of my pork joint go really brown and crispy?

because im making gingerbread men and i have all the ingredients besides nutmeg, does anyone have a recipe that doesnt use netmeg or any substitutes.

I'm making a stew and I think it is going to need thickening at the end. If i mix a little plain flour with some of the stock from the pan and stir this in at the end will it work....i still have at least 30mins of simmering time to go so I could do it whenever if you think it will need to cook for longer after thickening. I think it's stayed quite thin because I used a lot of stock and white wine and my potatoes have stayed intact as I used little ones with the skin on (chopped in rounds)...any tips wil be helpful

I think that's what you call the dish with sweet potatoes covered with a spice mixture and topped with marshmallows :). Does anyone have some variation or different ingresients i could try next time i make it? thanks!

My grandma used to make this candy out of fresh oranges, and other citurs and I wan to learn how to make it(grandma died about 10 years ago and no one can rember how she made it)
all i can rember is it was slices of the fruit and she would do something and when all done they were like a gummi candy kinda tasted like the orange slices candy you can buy.
can any one help me? i have done lots of internet recipe searches with no luck.

I have came back from the shops and bought a huuuuuge bunch of parsley and its now sitting in a vase in water. It wont get used up adding to our normal meals because there is way too much. Any ideas what I could with it? I suppose freezing it would be an option but im sure there are better ideas?
