1 (18 ounce) box chocolate cake mix
12 ounces Cherry Coke
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased 9x9 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
*The 9x9 pan is very important for the moistness and brownie like texture of the cake.
It tastes good.

Be sure and let the coke go to near flat before adding it.
You will not notice the addition of cola taste, but you will notice the cherry slightly.... this can also be achieved by using water (or black coffee, my favorite additive in chocolate cake) and 2 teaspoons of Almond Extract! (What we think of as "cherry flavor" is really almond extract: Same is true for "pistachio" flavor which is also almond extract. If you doubt this, look at the ingredients list on a bottle of maraschino cherries and on a box of pistachio ice cream)
