Change to: bars US Metric
4 ounces margarine
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons syrup
3 tablespoons drinking cocoa powder
1 (12 ounce) packet digestive biscuits
1 cup raisins
Put the margarine,sugar,syrup and drinking chocolate powder into a saucepan.Over a low heat,stir until ingredients have melted and formed a smooth cream.
Remove from heat and stir in the raisins. Roughly break the digestive biscuits(do not crush,you're not making a cheesecake base), and stir these into the mixture.
Pour this into a greased baking tin and spread melted chocolate over the top.Allow to cool.
Cut into fingers or squares and store in an airtight container.

just make it following your recipe and leave out th enuts. You might want to try either raisin (golden) or cried cranberries. I have made it with the cranberries and you get a bit of the cruncj that the nuts gave it but i also liked the new taste they gave it.

Most recipes with extra ingredients like nuts, cherries, etc can be taken out. they are not required. as nuts dont do anything to the cooking process it wouldnt ruin the dish by removing them, just cook as normal as your recipe says, and just dont add the nuts if your allergic, you can substitue the nuts for soemthing else if you like as well.
My sister ended up giving me a recipe for sweet potatoe casserole and she puts raisins in hers but i dont like raisins, so i just cooked normally like she said, but didnt add the raisins, and it turned out great!.. just remove them nuts u dont want.

As others have said, nuts are optional. Now, if there are other nuts you can eat, and so wish put them in. I would experiement with anything but peanuts because they are not true nuts and may detract from other flavours!

Just omit the nuts. Try raisins instead if you like those
