Normally, I have good ideas when it somes to baking, but I'm stumped. I'm looking for creative ideas for cupcakes. It's for my moms birthday. I can't use any fruit in them. I thought about getting hersheys kisses and sticking them down into the cupcakes right before they're done, but I haven't tried it yet and I don't know how it would turn out. Any suggestions/ideas/recipes?

The person working at the deli counter had no clue. What other cheese would you compare it to as far as taste/texture?

I want to start using fresh garlic more instead of the jarred kind that is already pealed. My question is, are there any hints to unpeeling them without getting all sticky?? I hate that feeling...it is also smelly. :) Thanks!

I bought some great northern beans to cook this morning, but was told I was supposed to soak them 1st. Why? Cant I just throw them in the water and boil them with some ham etc... for a couple hours, or does soaking them overnite do something?

I have an Olive tree and want to preserve them really would like to know how to do this. Do you have to soak in brine, leave for days etc. etc.

If there are any good cooks out here respond please!!
At school we made bread, but next time we do it we are meant to flavour it. We are supposed to do something really inventive, and wild, but I don't know what to do.
