My brother got me a bottle of Disaronno for chirstmas (along with these cool shot glasses and scotch glasses) but i have never had Disaronno. I don't even know what kind of liquor it is (just a liqueur i'm guessing). Are you supposed to mix it with something, are you supposed to do shots, are you supposed to drink it on the rocks? How do i do this?

What with smoking bans in public houses, with huge fines for those that even dare try to light up, and at worst a public flogging shortly to be announced by the Labour party early next year according to insiders, the price of beer is set to rise.
Beer was once the poor mans way of unwinding after a long hard day, and a welcome escape from the wife and kids, in a small establishment where he was free to smoke, drink and have a laugh with friends and strangers.
Currently around £2.20 a pint, the price is probably going to reach £4 according to the breweries due to;
(a).The kegs keep getting stolen and melted down for scrap.
(b). Fields are now being used for bio fuels instead of hops.

I suspect there is something more sinister here, as average wages have undoubtedly sunk in many parts of the UK, with a typical minimum pre tax hourly rate at around £5.75.
Do you think the government is secretly trying to ban alcohol, starting by costing it out of the market?
What next ?

I know the ingredients and the basic idea, but I'd like to know if anyone is experienced at this and has advice, as my first attempt bombed completely. I'm learning to cook a variety of African dishes and absolutely love Ethiopian cuisine with Injera.. I'm so disappointed I couldn't make the bread properly the first time.

When I was younger, I had very good tolerance of alcohol, but now everyone my age (including myself) seem to get really affected by alcohol both during and after having a few. I've pretty much quit, but I always wondered "what happened?" that I can't enjoy a margarita anymore without getting really stupid, and feeling like crap the next day.

If you look at the top of the logo, the white eagle appears to be carrying something...But what? It appears to be a book or something. I've searched the web with all different sorts of phrasing to try to find a reasonable answer---no luck there. So if anyone knows, please pass it along. Thanks

So a few days ago my cousin came to me and asked if he could borrow my car for the night, against my better judgment I said ok after making it clear there were to be no drugs or alcohol in the car. I went out the next morning to find that the car reeked of whiskey, I confronted him and he admitted a bottle had broken in the car. Several days later the car still reeks, I've tried Febreeze and air fresheners but it won't go away. I don't drink (recovering alcoholic) and can't stand the smell in the car. I am too embarrassed to allow anyone else in there, my daughters foster parents and I are supposed to meet next week to talk face to face for the first time and I'm terrified of what might happen if they think I'm still drinking. I am low on cash from the holidays and could really use a cheap solution here. Thank you all in advance, Happy holidays.

Somebody mentioned you can make rice pudding in a slow cooker, but my cook book does not include a recipe. I have rice, milk, raisins, fructose (no sucrose), possibly even vanilla. What a great Christmas treat it would be!

I already have Sushi and Tempura instructions, but I would like something more substantial, something for dinner ..... and if you could suggest a dessert, too, that would be really nice!

I live near a Japanese grocer, so ingredients are available, although I would like an online source if you have one that you like

Goodness, I ask for too much !!

Thank you
(how to say in Japanese?)

I perhaps incorrectly assumed that the difference between wine and champange is that champange is carbonated. So is sparkling wine and champange the same thing?
