For whole roast:
Sear it at 450 for about 20 minutes then reduce temp to 300 and figure 15 min/lb for rare; 22 min/lb medium and 30 for well done.

It is such a tender cut of meat rare to medium rare shows it off best.

Enjoy

I think I would sear it first to get a nice brown crust on the outside, then roast it in the oven at about 300 - 325 degrees until a meat thermometer reaches about 135. Remove from oven and allow it to rest for about fifteen minutes before slicing.

Don't cut it unless you are not planning to cook the whole thing.

You can slice it and either grill or broil it or roast it in a shallow pan on a rack for 40 - 50 minutes. It should be cooked rare or medium rare no matter how you do it.
