too much math going on in the first 2 answers
just add in one of the 1/2 cup that you have
then eyeball half of that cup again and there's your
1/4 making it 3/4 -- I do this all the time, for some reason all my 1/4 measuring cups disappear...

Use one 1/2 cup then half of the 1/2 cup (1/2 of a 1/2 is 1/4)

1/2 (=2/4) + 1/4 = 3/4

Don't they teach fractions any more???

3/4 = .75
1/2= .50
1/4= .25

use the 1/2 cup measurer twice then the third time, use half of it

(1/2 of 1/2 is 1/4)

1/2 + 1/2 + 1/4 = 3/4

I don't know if this will help, but

3 Tablespoons = 1 oz
2 oz. = 1/4 cup (6 Tablespoons)

Hopefully, you have measuring spoons.
