Peanut oil is pungent and makes the bird really crispy. Vegetable oil is bland cheap crap. The bird won't fry as well, be as crispy, but it will be at least cooked.

Can't you get some more peanut oil? I feel sorry for your guests!

Yes just keep an eye on the temperature a little more. Peanut oil has a higher temperature it can take without smoking. but it should still have the peanut oil taste if you mix it with vegetable oil.

Yes but it may cause splatter since the thickness are different - try canola oil instead (if you have it) the thickness is closer and it will heat more evenly with the peanut oil. Good Luck!

I wouldn't recommend it - different oils have different cooking temperatures, and different flavors. You don't know how it will impact the cooking time or the flavor of the turkey.
