I was a bartender for a year and loved it! Busy days/nights and left with amazing tips! Well worth it if you have amazing energy and if you are a people person!

I have been bartendeing for 2 years now, And I love it because it is great money, and great people, as long as you work somewhere that fits your personality. You can also make a lot of good friends. If I had to pick the one thing i like the most is that It is an awesome skill that a lot of people don't have that can be a blast.

It was the funnest job I have ever had.
You meet a lot of people.
I met a lot of girls. I was shy so It made it easier to meet women...and no I was not a big hoe.
You learn to make a lot of great drinks that you can make for yourself and friends at home.
Shots after closing.
Breakfest at Perkins.
Friendships.

I would say it is the people. if you are outgoing you will meet lots of interesting people. If you have another career you always have opportunity to do a little moonlighting.
