I became curious when my friend said they should be bigger at the bottom. Is there a particular reason?

When I was younger my nan used to have mints - that I thought were called Trebour Mints. They were in a similar packets to Polo's, but they had no hole. They were not extra strong. No one seems to remember them.
Can anyone help

My mom had a very old recipe from my aunt and it used cans of tomatoes and tomato paste and tomato sauce and who knows what else. It took hours to make and was fantastic.

My polish grandma used to make a great sweet bread like 50 years ago. I think it had raisins and was fantastic. Any help would be appreciated in getting a recipe like this.

I just moved here from PA and i am used to drinking Yuengling beer that the **** over here just is not doing it for me. Dont care for Hefweizen. In Pa there was alot of breweries so we got a large selection now that i am here i am just not sure what is what. I have drank all normal beer such as Miller, bud, Corona, Heinken, New Castle, Coors<----NASTY, Rolling Rock, Moosehead, Auergant Bastard Ale, Red Dog, PBR, Molsen, Sam Adams.... Ok you get the point! I am just interested in a local draft beer if you can help please do thanks.

I am planning a simple dinner for my husband, our 2 year old daughter, our 4 month old son (haha) and I. I have planned to serve:

Turkey (I got a Butterball turkey breast, about 5 lbs.)
Mashed potatoes (family recipe) and gravy
Green beans
Pumpkin pie with Cool Whip for hubby, Dream Whip for the girls
Homeade (bread machine) bread
Sparkling white and red grape juice

Am I missing anything?

Thanks~

It's the eternal Christmas joke; oh god, fruit cake! Gag! Yet they crank it out by the truck load every year so obviously SOMEBODY likes it. Is it just considered 'cool' to fuss about the stuff. Come on, fess up! You secretly like it, don't you?

I love sardines, but cannot afford them anymore. I bought a can today for $1.90 for 1 can. I remember buying them for .39 quite a while ago. I am not blaming anyone, but it seems a bit high. NO negative responses please.

I'm from Chicago. People here prefer the Chicago style dog: mustard, onion, neon green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices, sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt on a poppy seed bun. And no ketchup.

My favorite is a hot dogs with just mustard only. I like ketchup but I've never had it on a hot dog.

How do you dress your hot dog?

I want to eventually cut out all or most animal products from my diet but I cannot have anything with WHEAT, SOY, or NUTS, and very little sugar in my diet. What does that leave me to eat, especially for breakfast?

I have been looking all over the internet for a good recipe for Napoleons. All I can find is web pages about Napoleon Bonaparte!

I would really like to make these for my Christmas party but the recipes I do find are not for traditional napoleons but for completely different takes on the classic desert.

Please help me!!!!

Im looking for a mac and cheese recipe for christmas dinner...but the thing is i dont like cheddar cheese a whole lot...like a mix of it is good but pure cheddar makes me sick...i think mac and cheese should be really light in color...not orange...and not so strong a mild cheese taste...i dunno which cheese would be the best for this...and i want a crispy top to...best answer gets the points...

I've never made a ham for Christmas dinner, but this year I'm going to give it a try. Can you suggest some side dishes that will compliment the ham? Do people usually do mashed potatoes and gravy with ham or scalloped potatoes? Any suggestion appreciated.

This cream has expired yesterday. It's the 35% kind, but I was wondering if I could use it. Is it worth the risk? I don't like wasting food, especially if it is preventable. I know that with cheese even resturants cut the mold off....
