Baked brie with baguettes; hearts of romaine salad with the choice of Caesar, bleu cheese, ranch or green goddess dressing; poached pears; sweet potato wrapped pork medallions; Cornish game hens with rosemary; Yukon gold potatoes gaufrette filled with garlic mashed potatoes; steamed broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower; baked acorn squash; an assortment of pickles including chow chow, dill, and sweet varieties like pickled crab apples and watermelon rind; deviled eggs; crescent rolls; butter; margarine; chokecherry jam; buffalo berry jam; huckleberry jam; milk; apple or orange juice; hot tea; coffee; water. Dessert choices will be warm gingerbread, peach cobbler, and pound cake with or without raspberry sauce.

Starter : Home made chicken liver pate and toast

Main : Roast Goose with homemade sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes (cooked in the goose fat), roast parsnips, sprouts, peas, carrots and cauliflower, pigs in blankets and gravy.

Pudding : Home made Xmas pudding with white sauce/custard/brandy cream : Blackcurrent tart and cream, Home made vanilla ice cream with raspberry coulis

Cheese Board : Dolcellate, Stilton, Picos Blue, Brie, Rocquefort, St Agur (I love my blue cheeses!)

Nibbles : Home made mince pies, hungarian salami, varous cold meats.

My favourite bit : When everyone has gone to bed I sneak back into the kitchen for cold Xmas pudding and clotted cream - heaven!
