This cream has expired yesterday. It's the 35% kind, but I was wondering if I could use it. Is it worth the risk? I don't like wasting food, especially if it is preventable. I know that with cheese even resturants cut the mold off....

Whipped cream gone bad... This is another fine example that corporal punishment just encourages rebellion.

If it expired yesterday, then there's still hope and I am very optimistic that you can salvage the cream. Be nurturing and caring. No more whipping! lol :-P

I've used cream like that, just smell it, and if it smell fine, use it. I have had milk a week past the sell by date, and it has been fine.

It is fine. Is it truly an expiration date or is it a sell by date?

As long as it's been kept in the fridge, it should be alright for up to a week after expiry date

It's probably still good. If it's alot, use as much as you can within the next week or so, then toss it. If it's a little bit, use it up, and toss it out.
