10 = i can only certains foods a certain way, otherwise it's as good as garbage.

I have a dinner party tonight (13 guests) and am responsible for dinner. I decided to do lasagna, but my lasagna has turned out AWFUL (Actually, I havent cooked it yet, I prepped it last night and just sampled the ingredients as I made it). I used low fat ricotta (YUCK!), I accidentally fully-cooked my noodles (which I am sure will be soggy once I put it in the oven) and I put a dash of nutmeg in my spaghetti sauce (the recipe called for it and I was curious to find out why).

Should I go ahead and cook the lasagna or should I trash it??? If I trash it, can anyone give me an easy and tasty idea for a meal I can fix. I will only have 1 hour to shop and 1 hour to cook. HELP ME!!!!!

Can I use Canola oil? Our neighbor is allergic to peanuts.
How long can I store the oil? How many times can I use it?
And should I season the bird before I put it in or is that kind of a waste?
Thanks☼

I recently watched some videos on www.peta.com & www.kfccruelty.com and was completely disgusted with the way many animals are treated. I considered vegetarianism a while ago but opted against it as I didnt know much about it. To clarify, I really just do not want to eat meat anymore, frankly it disgusts me, but I would like to have dairy products such as milk and cheese. The only meat I eat is red meat, I dont eat chicken, pork, or turkey. However, I really do enjoy fish. How can I live a healthy lifestyle as a vegetarian (what types of food should I be eating to substitute meat - and what are some ideas for things to make) I am choosing not to eat meat but still want to eat fish, can I still maintain a healthy diet this way?
Any tips will help!

Thanks =)

Some times you see a question that makes you laugh or might be out of line. Why not just have fun with it for a change? Why do you always have to give such rude harsh responses if the topic is a bit off topic. Some of you only answer questions in this 'community' so I just thought maybe something different would make you laugh. I'm not speaking about everyone in this area but I asked the same question a while back in another forum and everyone liked it and thought it was funny and I got some great responses. The only responses I see in here for the most part are ones that you think you're better than the last vegan and you take it to such a higher level and anyone who eats meat is going to hell. I mean lighten up for a change and think outside the squash.

I am making open-faced sandwiches with toasted wheat bread, pesto,sundried tomatos, and mozzarella. I wanted to spread goat cheese on before adding the other toppings. What could I add to it other than water maybe to make it thin down enough to spread?

Hey guys, I go into my modes. One day I LOVE to cook, but the next it's like blah. But I have to cook for my fam. I work Mon-Fri 9-5. I'm usually home by 7:00pm so by then the meat has already marinated cause I season it in the morning before I head off. I'm hispanic (dominican & puerto rican) so the basics are rice, beans and chicken, lol. My hubby is African-American so I try to make all kinds of food, but he LOVES the Spanish cooking... :-) I'm still rocky with the cooking though. Do you guys have any recipes/tips...I love to bake btw, baked mac & cheese is the best!
Also, what's the easiest cheesiest lasagna recipe?

~Thank you all! ~
