I'm naturally skinny, but i eat a lot. I've been thinking of becoming a vegetarian, but if i decided to, would I get too thin? I don't wanna look like I have an eating disorder or anything, and I think I have a really fast metabolism. What would be some good vegetarian recipes that I could use to give me all the vitamins & whatever I need???

how can I bottle homemade iced tea?

I wanted to bottle up some of my own iced tea that I make. I was wondering what ways I could do this? So far all I can think of is using mason jars but I have no idea how long the iced tea would say good in them

What is the liquid that is in those blue freezer packs?

I have searched high and low, and cannot find anything. Short of cutting one open, which I'm about to do if someone here can't save me the trouble, what type of liquid is in them?

I assume it has additives (because if it was pure water, they would expand, and probably crack the plastic container it's in)

I assume those additives are food safe.

Vodka, whiskey, rum, gin, brandy????
I need good descriptions of the difference between taste and use and effects of these. I bet there's plenty of you out there who know what you're talking about. ;-)

Pet Ownership? Vegans?

I have read that most vegans do not agree with owning pets. I was wondering if that was true.

I just want to say, that it is too late to release any pet into the wild. Rodents will get killed, birds cannot survive, fish will most likely die, dogs & cats will die and could not find enough food, horses & livestock would not know what to do if they were raised on farms.

what's happening to me with alcohol?

OK. I'm turning 30 in 3 months. I remember in my early 20s i used to drink like a sailor. Well, I stopped drinking for a while because I guess I grew out of it. I started drinking again but I can never finish even one glass. It puts me to sleep! well, one day, I said to myself hey, you used to be able to drink all night and still be coherent let's try drinking more than one glass. well, I did and I felt violently ill, puking and stuff. My question is what happened? how come I can't consume alcohol like I used to?

Bread and butter pudding recipe with the crusts cut off?

This recipe had currents/sultanas and was soaked in a custard but the interesting thing was that when you chilled it - it came out as a slice. Any recipes?

eliminating soda?

My new years revolution was to get healthy not loose weight but get healthy. so part of that was completely eliminating soda from my diet June being my sixth month ( I wasn't addicted but a frequent drinker) how has eliminating soda changed my health?

Fingertips still smell like garlic...after cooking?

Almost 4 days ago I helped make white pizza, which we needed alot of garlic for...
I chopped up the garlic cloves, and it was almost 4 or more days ago!!
My fingertips have smelt like garlic since!
And also I wash my hands all the time with soup and shower once a day...
What to do to get the garlic smell off?! It's annoying me now.
