Eat the rice in small portion with lots of veggie as side dish. This way it will not make you fat.
Eat too much rice, yes you will be fat. It ( rice) is very high in glucose and carbs.
Why not try Brown rice. It is nutritional and it digests faster than white rice.
Besides that it is also good for bowel movement. The taste is bland. Eat it a few times and u will get used to the taste.

Those are all complex carbohydrates. On top of that, most use heavy salted products for flavoring and are very fattening. Alfredo sauce is probably the worst. Some alfredo sauces have as many calories as a full day's worth. Eating a complex carbohydrate such as white race sparingly or spaghetti sparingly is fine. But when eaten every day it can be extremely harmful. They metabolize slowly and do go towards fat cells.

Rice isn't going to cause you to gain weight, as long as you eat it in moderation. I like brown rice!
Hopefully, you're just not eating rice alone!
May I suggest a rice and black bean burrito? They are wonderful!

Brown rice is an excellent and wholesome food. In fact, most of the world depends on it. Billions of Chinese people throughout history have eaten it every day, and that's because it's good for you!
Of course, it's only one part of a balanced diet, and you shouldn't subside on it exclusively or anything.
White rice, on the other hand, is almost empty calories. It's nutritional garbage.

I'm a vegan also Rice is basically healthy and pretty filling, but the only bad thing about it is the sodium. I would say it's okay to have rice everyday just look on the label of rice brands to see which has the least sodium and best flavor!

I'm vegan and eat rice (& beans) everyday. As well, everyone puerto rician in my family does the same, which goes all the way up to my 71 year old grandpa who's been eating rice (and beans) his whole life.

Eat dark rices the most but you'll be just fine if you eat white rices too. Its a international staple and has been used as so for a very long time.
