I always buy an extra fried rice from the chinese and freeze it. Leave it to cool then put in the fridge of an hour and then move it into the freezer. It should be ok in there for about 1 month. To defrost it I put it in a glass bowl and put it in the microwave on defrost for 5 mins and then full power for 3. The peas get really hot so be careful when you eat it. Check that it is hot all the way through before you eat it. If it's still a bit cool, stir it and reheat it again for a bit longer. Happy Chinese Chomping!!

Yes, you can freeze fried rice in a tightly sealed plastic bag.
When you are ready to eat the rice, transfer it to a bowl with a little bit of water then pop it in the microwave on high for a minute, stir and continue cooking for about 40 seconds.

When I freeze fried rice, I lay it out in a plastic freezer bag flattening the bag and putting the kernals in one layer. This keeps the kernals separate then I store it upright. It's easier pour out as much as you need then and re-freeze the rest. You can drizzle it with a little water or soy sauce before you heat it covered in the microwave.

Fried rice freezes just fine.
I would put it into portion size containers though, and I find that when reheating it is better if you can put a little drop or so of oil in a pan and reheat it that way. The micro works, it's just a little dry sometimes...You can put a few droplets of water over it (and cover with moist paper towel) before reheating to help with moisture loss.
Good luck, hope I helped!

I know you can freeze white rice so I don't see why fried rice couldnt be frozen. You just put it in the microwave for a little bit, then it will be as good as new!

It should be fine. You can thaw it and warm it in the microwave. If it has egg in it then the egg might get a little rubbery but other than that it should be ok. You might want to get a small container to see how it is after being frozen before you buy a lot to freeze.

fried rice is good in the fridge for roughly 2 days. just heat it in the microwave until hot throughout and it's all good.
cover it with plastic wrap so the rice gets moist again.
