You are probably having a reaction to the sulfates in the wine which is used to preserve it. Red wines in particular seem to cause this problem for some people.

You probably have low tolerance to certain chemicals in wine, possibly sulfates. Try to find sulfate free, organic wine and see if it still effects you. If it does, it could be a natural chemical wine contains. Are you Asian? Often Asians lack a hormone that helps assimilating ingredients of wine .

May I suggest that if wine makes you throw up, why, oh why would you want to drink it at all?

You might be allergic to it, or maybe you just don't like how it takes. But what's the big deal? Just don't drink it.
