Why does it always say on a canned vegetables that "refrigerate unused portion in a separate covered container"?

Each family of 5 families going on vacation together will make dinner for everyone else on one specific night. There are 12 adults and 10 kids under 14. Most of the kids are between 2 and 10. Any suggestions on what to make that is fairly easy and tastes delicious? I don't like Stouffer's lasagna and that is what my husband wants to make. Yes it is easy but I like mine better and I'm not making that much lasagna while on vacation.

So my girlfriend is going to Mexico and offered to bring me back some sort of Mexican alcohol. I am a beer drinker, but I don't think beer would be good for the transport process, so I am thinking liquors. Anyone have any good suggestions? Obviously I would like something I can't buy here in the States. And I'm not really a tequila drinker, either.

i'm trying to maintain/lose weight.. i am 5'4 & weigh between 125-129. i was wondering if what i ate was healthy?

breakfast: oatmeal w/ cinnamon & a pear.

lunch: smoked turkey sandwich on 2 peices of whole wheat bread, lettuce, cheese, & mustard. & an apple.

snack: non fat yogurt, & a special k bar.

dinner: big bowl of honey bunches of oats cereal w/ fat free milk & an apple w/ natural peanut butter.

will i gain weight?

I've been thinking about becoming vegan for a long time, and I've finally decided that I want to become vegan, but I have a question, are there any vegan soft drinks? Like Coke, Pepsi, Barq's Root Beer, Sprite, 7 Up, anything? I looked at Peta2's website and they didn't list any and I was wondering why. Also, are they even vegetarian friendly? Thanks!

ok, i went to this japanese buffet and im not sure what its called. It was a salty soup, it had lots of scalions in it, it had very thick yet short noodles, there were red dots in it- im assumping a sort of red spice, it was served with one bredded shrimp in it. It was dark in color , any idea what soup this might be?
