Grilled Shrimp

1½ pounds fresh uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
3/4 cup olive oil
1 medium onion, grated (I chopped mine)
Juice of 2-4 lemons, depending on how much shrimp you have
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme
1 tablespoon fresh basil- chopped
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
½ aspoon celery seed (I didn't have any so I subbed ground coriander seeds)
½ easpoon chili powder
couple pinches of sea or kosher salt
couple of pinches of cayenne pepper--to your taste

Mix in a large bowl. Let marinade for a few hours if you have time. 30 minutes will give good flavor. Put shrimp on skewers (if needed). Grill.

Flip the shrimp when the pink spreads to the middle of the shrimp. The shrimp are done when they turn pink. Most people overcook shrimp. They will literally take 3-4 minutes or less depending on size.

Use a pizza pan for this one, it's great, easy, and everyone loves it. I don't even know what it's called....

8 oz of Cream Cheese.
One jar of Cocktail Sauce.
One package of Shrimp (thawed).
One box of Ritz Crackers.

Spread the Cream Cheese on the pizza pan. Spread the Cocktail Sauce on top, leaving an edge around the sides (much like a pizza). Lay the Shrimp evenly over the top.

Serve with the Crackers.....using them to dip into the spread.

Double the ingredients accordingly if you want to use a larger pan.

2 week a go i made and Awe-mazing shrimp dish and my mom loved it!!!!here's the recipe, it only takes 15 min.
you need two pounds of shrimp, shrimp dipping sause, skewers for kabos, butter and fresh, diced oions.
1st heat up your sause pan and put in 1/2 cups butter after the butter melts put in 1/2 pound of shrimp. Then let it orange a little and while it "oranging" put 1/4 cups butter in the microwave and drizzle it on top of the shrimp. Then do the next batch of shrimp JUST like the 1st one. while the 2nd batch is cooking put the shrimps on the kabob!!!!! and pour your shrimp dipping sause in little bowl and set the kabob on TOP of the bowl. Do the same to the next batch and your done and have a nice shrimp dish but its not a filler so have something to go with it!!!!!!!

coctel de camaron..(shrimp cocktail)

put water to boil with salt or seasoning salt.
when it boils, put the shrimp only until they're red.(about 3-5mins)
meanwhile, dice cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, and onions if desired and imitation crab meat.
take the shrimp out and peel them
you can dice them if you want,

mix the diced vegetables, the crab meat and the shrimp altogether ..

add a cup of the water where you boiled them, depending on the quantity of shrimp

pour some clamato on it....
and squeeze a lot of lemons...
serve with tostadas and if you want spicier, add tapatio sauce once you have served
