i'm trying to maintain/lose weight.. i am 5'4 & weigh between 125-129. i was wondering if what i ate was healthy?

breakfast: oatmeal w/ cinnamon & a pear.

lunch: smoked turkey sandwich on 2 peices of whole wheat bread, lettuce, cheese, & mustard. & an apple.

snack: non fat yogurt, & a special k bar.

dinner: big bowl of honey bunches of oats cereal w/ fat free milk & an apple w/ natural peanut butter.

will i gain weight?

not too bad. try having some grilled chicken or fish for dinner instead of cereal. The key is to never get hungry and eat all throughout the day to keep your metabolism going, just little snacks like you're doing. Yes, if you want to lose, then add a bit of excercise, maybe 30 min a day 3-4 times a week. You might gain a bit if you're not active enough.

No you won't gain weight, but you probably won't lose weight either if you're not exercising. I would quit eating the Special K bars and maybe switch to a lower sugar cereal like Cheerios instead of Honey Bunches of Oats.

No, you ate a very sensible amount and content of food today. If anything more people should strive to eat 4 to 5 times a day. The key to weight loss is not constant snacking but more of routine timed meals where you eat smaller portions. And it may look like you gained weight if you weigh yourself but its probably youre water weight don't worry about a weight gain from your style of eating! Good luck with keeping healthy!

How should we know if you'll gain weight?! We dont' know how tall you are or what kidn of exercise you did today // this week!! In general, your diet sounds pretty healthy. To lose weight, incrase your (dirty word here) exercise and water intake.

You may also want to skip those cereal bars and Honey Bunch cereals... very high in sugar and that can cause blood sugar swings which can make you feel hungry a bit after you eat.

What you ate isnt a lot if you were active through out the day.
Worried? Go for a brisk 30 to 60 minute walk and be worry free.

It completly depends on how much of those calories U burned during the day! If U excersised for about 45 minutes I would say you would probably maintain the same weight!

you will gain weight but only a little. To help lose weight or keep your weight at a certain spot you should probably start exercising

i think u is a nice size for 5'4 dont worry about it and no u didnt eat a lot because everything is healthy just lay off of da peanut butter.

don't change ur eating habits unless you are gaining weight each day. otherwise you'll just maintain your weight. Everyone wanted me to change my eating habits but i wasn't gaining so i didn't. still haven't and i'm fine!
