According to USA Today this is a gooey concoction of melted chocolate, marshmallows and popcorn made by campers. I need more details - quantities, etc. Do you toast the marshmallows over the campfire? What kind of chocolate - Hershey bars, chocolate chips, etc.? Is it done in a pan over the campfire? Thanks. This question has been asked several times and we are anxiously awaiting the answer--hope someone out there has the answer....

I have a recipe that I need some crispy wafers for, but I have to fry them. I thought that Wonton skins would be great, but I can't find any in a store, and I don't have any clue how to make them. Any help?

I am always getting these meat eaters who question me and try to find a flaw in the veg*n diet. The most popular question is "where do I get my protein?"

What is the best thing for me to say to them so they will stop harassing me.

My wife and I are in total disagreement over this. I say that hot water should go into the coffeemaker as this takes a load off the heating elements and ultimately saves electricity that would be used for heating otherwise cold water.

My wife says that cold water should be used because putting hot water in there would cause the elements to short out due to the shortened heating time.

My mother-in-law says we're stupid and we shouldn't squabble over it. She doesn't give a damn what kind of water goes in there as long as there's a cup of coffee in it for her.

We are using a Bunn 10-cup coffee maker. Incidentally, we posed this question to Bunn and they would not give an answer to it.

This is a question where the stakes are high. If I am right, then she-who-must-be-obeyed will wash and wax the car. If she is right, then I must massage her feet with warmed strawberry scented mineral oil.

So who is right???

I mean, are they nutritious at all or JUST A COMPLETE WASTE OF CALORIES.
I've taken to eating them now that summer is here, I can eat a whole bag all by myself.... but I think I ought to stop soon before I'm sorry...
What if I just ate everything I liked?

I'm told that a simple recipe for a good zip sauce is 2 parts liquified butter to one part Maggie Soup Starter--- the problem is that no one seems to know what "Maggie Soup Starter" is! Does anyone out there? Also, does anyone know a good recipe for zip sauce for a steak?

Vegetarian & Vegan Community
I want to do this vegetarian/vegan thing for weight lost and general health. But, I want more...it would be fun to be part of an active vegetarian and/or vegan community with activities. Is there such a thing? I'm in Georgia.

This is kind of weird, but my Hispanic grandma, who makes her own tortillas, has always said there is a top and a bottom to every tortilla. She said that when the edge curls up, that's the top, and that's where you put the meat, etc. I can totally see this, but nobody else thinks it's true. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Thanks.

When they pick contestants on Hell's Kitchen, how do they pick? Like, what are the backrounds of the people that are on the show competing? Did they all go to culinary school?

No, I'm not interested in joining the show...just curious!

I once read about this family that was practicing a 'low impact' lifestyle. Which i thought was really neat. Because they only bought things that didn't come in packages (for the most part they only ate vegetables and fruits), but of course they had to buy vitamins but would recycle the bottles. They didn't use toilet paper or paper towels (water bottles and air drying), and they packed their lunch to go to work in glass jars instead of paper bags and such. I just thought this would be a really cool thing to be apart of-- knowing how wasteful my own family is. If everyone took part in this, the world would be much cleaner!
What are your views?
