I am having friends over for dinner and i was going to cook some meat/chicken on the BBQ. Does anyone know any EASY recipes for something i could make on the side?

I'm sorry I dont have exact measurements.

Bake Beans
4 or 5 cans of campbells pork and beans, drain a few of the beans, then add ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, chopped onion, karo syrup, and lil smokies and bake them in the oven for 35-45 minutes at 350'. Talk about delicious. I sometimes use beef smoked sausage or kielbasa pieces instead of the lil smokies. =0)

Hashbrown Potato Casserole

2 pounds. frozen hashbrowns potatoes, thawed
10 oz pkg cheddar cheese, grated
8 oz. sourcream
1 can cream of celery
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 stick butter, melted
Brown sausage, and set aside. Mix all other ingredients together. Put in greased casserole. Bake at 350' for 45-55 minutes.

If you want to follow the whole BBQ thing then you could BBQ some potatoes or Veggies. They will tast grate. For the veggies just lay in on the grill and add some olive oil and salt and they will cook in a jiffy. (oh yah and cut them thinly before you put them on the grill so they cook fast) For the potatoe simply rap it in foil and let it cook for a while. Corn is also a fun one to do.

Buy some cole slaw from your local deli, some dinner rolls from the bakery, put those out on something kinda fantsy. Then, in the produce dept get a watermelon, some green grapes, and cantaloupe, cut it all up and put it back inside the watermelon or put it in a nice bowl and serve. If you'd like a dip for that fruit salad get cool whip and dry strawberry jello mix and mix the 2 together... it's great ! They'll think you slaved all day.
