I bought a pound of sees assorted chocolates on january 1st and it has remained unopened and untouched until now. I'm wondering if they're safe to eat and if they might have expired. I'm planning on gifting them so I can't exactly open it and check.

It has to be a candy/candies and NOT any type of chocolate (which would make it a whole lot easier! but she likes candy but doesn't care for chocolate). Obviously, I'm trying to think of something "cooler".....and not just a bunch of Mentos and Starbursts from the market.

I didnt really know where this would fall so I put it here...

I've never tried Hookah but almost everyone I know does it and goes to Hookah bars in NYC and stuff. SO....does it like...get u high or something? if not...whats the point of doing it? If it doesnt give you some sort of...any sort of feeling at all...why do it other then blacken your lungs for no reason? My friends and I are going to a hookah bar/lounge/club (whatever) and I'll try it but I just wanna know WHAT it is and if its anything really special?
Also, how old do you have to be to smoke it? Cause we're all 16 and 17 and they've all done it before.

so this is like a pretty stupid question but.. one of my girlfriends was telling me about this exchange student she was going to have at her house in a couple weeks. He's from Japan, and in the pamphlet she had to read about having exchange students, she said that it said they HATED peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. i dont mean to offend anybody, but i really just want to know if this is true. thanks guys

I thought everyone would like to know that I did the pork and Coke test today and these were my results.
For anyone who has not seen the video:

After 8 hours of letting the pork chops sit and soak in the Coke, no maggots were found on either pork chops. CONCLUSION: Either the video was a really good hoax and that was a piece of rice or it was expired meat that they used in the video. (I tend to think it was the first one) I feel better about eating pork again!
