I am a single mother of 3 and find that at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is slave over the stove. However I like to prepare foods for my children because it saves money and its better for them. I dont like the tv dinner or chef boyardee thing, so anyone know any good, fast and easy recipes that the family will enjoy?

No car, no money and no friends. And no, I can't drink and get drunk. One drink and I'll be in the hospital for a week.

I bought some chicken that was reduced to sell quick, but when I actually opened it the smell was slightly fishy/reminded me of the stuff we used in biology class (not formalidhyde, the other chemical). I don't necc. think it was strong enough to mean that it was bad, but I can't be certain. Maybe it is the brand?

I am obsessed about finding the best foods and brands that I can reach (call me a foodie), and I hear that the majority of soy sauces are just salty, factory enhanced, artificial black water. Where can I find the REAL stuff, without all the preservatives, extra salt, etc. I would preferably like one that was made with super traditional methods...I suspect that one would taste absolutely phenomenal.

I work at a Greek restaurant and the marinated calamari is very tender. I bought some white squid from a seafood market and no matter how long I cooked it for, it turned out a little chewy. My boss would only tell me that he uses purple squid. Any ideas out there?

I don't really need the method, I can cook a bit, but I had this killer stew in a restaurant the other week - while watching Man U beat Liverpool live on TV -and I'd like to serve it up (to myself and my daughter) at home. It was a bit peppery. Do you put peppercorns in? Any other secret stuff?
